Java Furniture & Giftware is an independent Christchurch furniture store, established in 2008. From our showroom on Blenheim Road, we offer a constantly changing collection of quality furniture and homewares that's a little different from what you'll find elsewhere.

We personally select the furniture that comes into Java, sourcing from Indonesia, India, China and Malaysia, alongside contemporary ranges from selected New Zealand suppliers.
The result is an eclectic mix of styles — from handcrafted and solid timber furniture to contemporary sofas, occasional chairs, dining furniture and statement pieces. Most importantly, we look for quality, individuality and a point of difference.

We deliberately buy our imported furniture in very small quantities. Some designs may have only a handful available, while others are genuine one-offs.
It keeps our showroom changing and means you can find something at Java that you won't see in every other home. It's something our customers tell us they love about shopping here — Java is different from other furniture stores.
